The second midterm will take place on Wednesday
November
11, from 10:00 to 10:50, in MHP
106 (Mudd Hall of Philisophy;
see campus map here). Here
is a Sample Midterm 2.
Rules for the midterm: Same as
for the first midterm. Bring
your student ID, as there will be a few random checks. No calculator
allowed. You are allowed to bring a "cheat sheet", namely a single
letter-size (8.5 by 11 inches, or metric A4 size) sheet of paper where
you can write whatever you think will be useful. The only rule for the
cheat sheet is that it has to be handwritten, and in your own
handwriting.
Program: The midterm will cover
everything we have done this semester, up to (and including) §4.1.
